Ducati M900 11/95 Monster Special - STOP PRESS: $1,000 PRICE REDUCTION, I Need the $!! However I have just paid the rego so it has 12 months now to 30/07/13. I have also cleaned the bike up properly now so here are some new photos - the Air Hawk seat is now not included as Frances has nicked it to stick on the VT750S - apparently those cruisers aren't so comfortable after all, and anyway I find the Corbin seat perfectly comfortable on long trips.
A minor correction to the earlier post, as many may know "Panorkle"'s real name is Peter Pusztai (NSW DOC, Sydney) and he is a thorough gentleman that does excellent quality customisation / restoration work on all kinds of vehicles. This bike is a long way from that fairly drab looking original model as a result of that fine fellow's efforts. Plus of course I have done "the engineering thing" on it to make it an all round nicer bike to live with. The advert in bikesales.com appears below with a little more text since I hit the limit there! I don't mind saying you will beat me down to $5,500 ride away, but offer any lower and I'm happy to wait 'til spring - when the price may go back up as there will be more people in the market and the bike is worth more.
Set up to look good on and go touring without hassle, 12 mth rego, serviced & ready to ride, you will love this bike! Ducati Performance Custom gauges; custom paint; bikini fairing; comfort lift bars; heated hand grips; Ducati orgasm sticker (refer to owner for details!), wide stable bar-end mirrors so you can easily see who you're leaving behind up hills!; electronic chain Pro-Oiler (fill every 5,000km so ride hassle free AND get triple the chain life!);
Corbin seat; brand new cam drive belts; brand new electronic fuel pump (so always starts immediately after long periods in the shed); STM clutch slave cyl (for low lever effort); braided brake lines (for better brake feel); 1,200kms since full service; new rear tyre & near new front tyre; 1yo battery; Ventura luggage rack (Rally bag illustrated not included); Ventura headlight protector; Staintune s/s exhaust; workshop manual (and other useful riding and maintenance info) on usb; original owners manual and manuals on all equipment fitted.
rego to 30/07/13; 77,000km young and is a fun, hassle free bike! (Explanation: Ducatis typically get 150,000km plus before top end work is required to reduce oil consumption. This bike is in really sound mechanical condition and showing no sign of premature aging) Brand new clutch rod seals and also replaced clutch plates with those from a bike with 6,000km so it will last a long time (has the "low rattle" mod which greatly extends life also) and check out the cool open red clutch cover; Can arrange cheap “ride-it-to-ya” delivery; Note: the bike has just had a good going over to sort out any minor issues - I did this as I am well known and respected in the Ducati community and want to KNOW that the next owner is getting a good bike that is exactly what it appears to be. The bike is being sold because my wife (the main rider and in the first pic) bought a cruiser due to unrelated issues and a bike has to go, sadly it is this one - with the now super-bargain price snap it up while its still available!
